How Bank Nifty moves
The Nifty Bank index follows the most liquid Indian bank stocks. It often moves two to three times as many points as the Nifty 50 in a day, so a stop that looks tight in points can cost far more rupees per lot. Size from the stop, never from the lot.

Bank Nifty signal questions
Does FundedLot give Bank Nifty signals?
The FundedLot mentor posts Indian index setups, Bank Nifty included, to members whose plan includes India, each with an entry, a stop and targets sized from your capital. The public AI record covers forex, gold, US indices and crypto; Indian setups go on the record once posted.
How do I calculate Bank Nifty position size?
Take the rupees you will risk (1% of ₹10,00,000 is ₹10,000), divide by your stop in points (₹10,000 ÷ 100 points = ₹100 a point). That is about 100 units of the index; divide by the current Bank Nifty lot size on NSE and round down to get lots. If it is less than one lot, the trade is too big for that stop.
Why does Bank Nifty need smaller size than Nifty?
Because it moves more points. The same rupee risk buys fewer units when the stop has to be wider. Sizing from the stop keeps one loss the same size whichever index you trade.
