The one-liner

FundedLot is a flight simulator for prop-firm challenges

Traders pay $50–$540 per attempt at prop-firm evaluations, and commonly cited industry estimates put first-attempt failure around 90% — mostly from rule breaches, not bad strategy. FundedLot lets traders rehearse the exact rules on virtual funds first: real market prices, enforced daily-loss and drawdown limits, and a mistake engine that detects and prices the behaviour that ends accounts.

The story in three paragraphs

Online prop firms sell evaluations: trade a simulated account under strict rules — profit target, daily loss limit, drawdown floor — and earn a share of profits on a bigger simulated account if you survive. It's a legitimate model with a brutal funnel: the commonly cited figure is that around nine in ten first attempts fail, and evaluation fees are the industry's dependable revenue.

The strange part is what's missing: a practice environment. Broker demos have real prices but no rules; the firms sell attempts, not preparation. So the standard way to learn a daily loss limit is to pay a few hundred dollars and breach it.

FundedLot closes that gap as an unaffiliated, deliberately un-glamorous practice tool: the same rules enforced tick by tick on virtual funds, a pre-trade risk guard, a full autopsy of every failure, and 32 behaviour detectors that price each mistake in dollars. It sells practice depth — never funded accounts, never payouts, never hope. The manifesto is the long version.

Boilerplate (copy-paste)

FundedLot is a prop-firm challenge practice app for iOS and Android. It simulates trading evaluations end to end — real market prices, enforced daily-loss and drawdown rules, profit targets — on virtual funds, and coaches traders with 32 mistake detectors that price every error in dollars. FundedLot is an educational simulator: it is not a broker or prop firm, offers no real-money trading, funded accounts, or payouts, and is not affiliated with any proprietary trading firm. What we'll happily talk about

  • The economics of the evaluation industry — who pays, who profits, what the fee funnel looks like.
  • Why traders fail: the behavioural data behind rule breaches, revenge trading and oversizing.
  • Simulation design: what it takes to enforce a rulebook honestly, tick by tick.
  • Building a trading-education product without selling hope.
